Terms of Service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. What Heeo is
Heeo is an AI content studio. You describe the content you want — an episode, a video, a presentation, a music track, or a recurring show — and Heeo creates it and, when you ask it to, publishes it to media channels you connect (for example, your YouTube channel). Heeo can also run shows on a schedule you configure, producing and publishing episodes automatically. These Terms are a contract between you and Heeo Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation (“Heeo”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Heeo (16 where your country sets a higher minimum for online services). If you are under 18, you may use Heeo only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Features that publish to third-party platforms additionally require you to satisfy those platforms’ own age and account rules (for example, Google and YouTube’s terms).
You are responsible for your account: keep your credentials secure, and everything done under your account is treated as done by you. One person per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Credits, plans, and billing
Heeo uses credits to cover the cost of creating content. Plans and top-up packs are shown at heeo.io/upgrade. Purchases are processed by Stripe; Heeo Inc. is the merchant of record. Once a credit has been spent on a generation it is non-refundable; if a generation fails before AI work began, the credit is returned automatically. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and run to the end of the paid period.
EU/UK consumers — 14-day withdrawal. You may withdraw from a digital-services purchase within 14 days. By starting to use Heeo you request that the service begin immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for the portion already performed; any unused portion is refundable on request to support@heeo.io.
Disputed charges. Contact us first at support@heeo.io; we aim to resolve billing disputes within 5 business days. Chargebacks filed without giving us a chance to review may result in suspension pending resolution.
4. Your content and ownership
You own the content Heeo generates for you — episodes, videos, tracks, artwork, scripts — to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to the third-party rights described in Section 5. You grant Heeo a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit your content solely to operate the service: to generate it, store it, show it to you, and deliver it to the channels you tell us to publish to.
AI-generated output can be similar to output generated for others and may not be protectable by copyright in every jurisdiction. Review your content before you rely on it commercially.
5. Content rules — copyright, brands, and people
You are solely responsible for the content you create, publish, or schedule with Heeo and for having every right needed to use it. You agree NOT to use Heeo to create or publish content that:
- infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property — including using third-party brands, logos, characters, artwork, or music you do not have rights to;
- violates a person’s right of publicity or privacy — including realistic depictions, impersonations, or voice imitations of celebrities or any real person without their consent;
- is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, or sexually exploitative, or that violates platform rules of any channel you publish to;
- misrepresents AI-generated material as authentic footage of real events or real people where that would deceive.
We may remove content, refuse generations, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules, and we cooperate with lawful requests from rights holders and authorities. U.S. law (including the DMCA) and the rules of the platforms you publish to apply to what you make public.
6. Publishing to your channels
When you connect a channel (for example YouTube, via our integration provider), Heeo publishes only what you created and only when you or an automation you configured requests it. The channel remains yours: its content, monetization, audience, and compliance with the platform’s terms are your responsibility. Scheduled shows keep publishing until you pause them; you can pause or disconnect at any time.
7. Copyright complaints and takedown (DMCA)
If you believe content created or published through Heeo infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@heeo.io (or support@heeo.io) identifying the work, the infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a signature, consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512. We act expeditiously on valid notices, and we terminate repeat infringers.
If you are a Heeo user and you become aware of a copyright claim, dispute, or demand involving content you made or published with Heeo, you must notify us within 30 days of becoming aware of it at legal@heeo.io, so we can respond, preserve records, and where applicable process a counter-notice.
8. Heeo is a tool — responsibility for published content
Heeo provides generation and publishing tools; the creative decisions and the decision to publish are yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heeo is not responsible or liable for content generated at your direction or published to your channels — including its accuracy, legality, originality, monetization outcomes, or any claim by a third party arising from it.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heeo Inc., its officers, and employees from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from content you created or published with Heeo or from your breach of these Terms.
9. Service availability and AI limitations
Heeo depends on third-party AI, hosting, and platform APIs. We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and AI output may contain errors — review before publishing. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heeo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Heeo in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where prohibited, they do not apply to you.
11. Termination
You can stop using Heeo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal exposure, or abuse the service, with notice where practicable. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email or in-product before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
